Hello, I’m Whitney. I work in the Sales Department for Dec-O-Art. When I am off the clock, you will find me dabbling in my favorite creative pastimes: painting and cooking new recipes. I enjoy any hobby that helps me stay active including walking our dogs, Penny and Pico, camping, and playing sports with my family. I am obsessed with rewatching the tv show, Bones (the best show out there), and reading the admirable, patriotic book, The Greatest Beer Run by John “Chick” Donohue and J.T. Molloy. Another passion of mine is supporting the Ronald McDonald House. I have used the organization’s resources personally, and the work that they do is unmeasured.
I believe that success is defined by happiness. My kids bring me endless happiness and their excitement is inspiring. They are my whole world. I find watching my kids grow into kind, compassionate, and smart individuals to be the most rewarding thing in my life!
Dec-O-Art gave me a simple line once, and it’s something I carry with me every day. “Treat every person as if they are your customer.” If I am willing to give a customer kindness, understanding, empathy, and the best version of myself, each time we speak, then why wouldn’t I treat the person sitting next to me the same way? I want to be known for being the person who comes in everyday as my best self.
I admire Dec-O-Art’s work on the custom product lines. Working in production many years ago, I only saw the finished product. I am excited to watch the whole process from our meet and greet, product ordering, production, and finally, the customer satisfaction from the order. Customer service and product knowledge are my niche! I can’t wait to meet you, work with you, and bring your needs to a product you’re excited about.
