Dec-O-Art Supports Care Camps Foundation With $16,610 Contribution and Custom Camp Gifts

Amanda Buchanan — Thu, 01 Oct 2026 11:37:49 +0000

Dec-O-Art is continuing its support of Care Camps Foundation through a co-branded decal program that helps fund healing camp experiences for children with cancer and their families.

For Dec-O-Art, decals represent more than a product. Through a co-branded decal created in partnership with Care Camps Foundation, every sale helps fund healing camp experiences for children facing cancer and their families. Each order is a small act with a meaningful result, giving customers a direct role in bringing hope and joy to children during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

In 2025, Care Camps Foundation supported 125 pediatric oncology camps across the United States and Canada, reaching more than 47,000 children, parents, and siblings. At camp, children are not defined by their diagnosis. They are simply campers, making friends, building confidence, and creating lasting memories alongside others who truly understand what they are experiencing.

Through its 2026 co-branded decal sales, Dec-O-Art is contributing $11,610 to Care Camps Foundation. Beyond the decal program, Dec-O-Art is providing an additional $5,000, bringing its total contribution to $16,610. This combined contribution is one small part of helping make meaningful camp experiences possible for children with cancer and their families.

“Supporting Care Camps Foundation is incredibly meaningful to our team,” said Alexis Sindle, Sales Operations Manager of Dec-O-Art. “Every purchase goes further than the product itself. It helps give a child and their family a moment of joy during an incredibly difficult time. We are proud of what this partnership makes possible, and we look forward to growing it.”

Every family deserves the opportunity to create joyful memories together, especially during life’s most challenging moments. For an industry built around family, travel, and time together, the connection to Care Camps Foundation is a natural one. Dec-O-Art believes its commitment to families extends beyond the products it manufactures, and this partnership is one meaningful way of putting that belief into action.

This year, Dec-O-Art is expanding its support by putting its craft directly into the cause. The company designed and printed custom decals in-house, and Dec-O-Art team members personally applied them to three custom Jenga sets. The company also created handwritten inspirational cards for children with cancer attending camp.

“Partnerships like this demonstrate the incredible impact that is possible when businesses come together to support children with cancer,” said Jenna Berneck, Development Director of Care Camps Foundation. “Every Jenga set, every handwritten card, and every act of kindness helps make camp experiences possible where children can experience joy, belonging, and the healing power of the outdoors. These thoughtful gifts remind children and their families that an entire community is cheering them on, and we are deeply grateful to Dec-O-Art for helping create those moments.”

Dec-O-Art’s 4th Annual Donation Day Contributes $75,000 to Local Nonprofits Chosen by Employees

Amanda Buchanan — Wed, 16 Sep 2026 14:38:22 +0000

Elkhart, IN, September 2026 ─ Dec-O-Art marked its fourth annual Donation Day on September 18, closing its doors for a day of hands-on service at three local nonprofits chosen by employees: A Rosie Place for Children, Angels in the Attic, and Cultivate Food Rescue. Donation Day gives employees the opportunity to give back to the community in a direct, hands-on way, reflecting Dec-O-Art’s belief that community involvement is just as important as the products the company creates.

Founded in 2005, A Rosie Place for Children is Indiana’s first and only specialty hospital dedicated to respite care for medically fragile children, serving families from all 92 Indiana counties. The team helped A Rosie Place prepare for its annual “It’s A Wonderful Life” Christmas party for the medically fragile children and families the organization serves, painting canvas panels for a Christmas craft and assisting with other projects as the organization prepared for upcoming events.

Angels in the Attic is a nonprofit organization founded by Kristine Kuroski that provides clothing, food, hygiene products, and other essentials to individuals and families across Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan. Part of the team assisted with the organization’s furniture operations, pulling furniture and loading moving trucks to help prepare deliveries for local families, many of whom have been waiting for assistance. The remaining volunteers supported the main facility with sorting, organizing, stocking, and other projects that needed attention.

Founded in 2016, Cultivate Food Rescue is a Northern Indiana nonprofit dedicated to rescuing surplus food and providing nutritious meals to families facing food insecurity in St. Joseph, Elkhart, and Marshall counties. While there, volunteers sorted frozen meals and packaged them into bags for distribution throughout the community, then worked assembly-line style to fill meal trays, seal and stack finished meals, and assist with other production tasks.

Dec-O-Art also presented each nonprofit with a $25,000 donation, for a combined total of $75,000, to help strengthen the vital services these organizations provide.

“Donation Day is a reflection of who we are as a company,” said Angela Marazita, Marketing Director at Dec-O-Art. “It’s been a privilege to coordinate this event and work alongside so many incredible community organizations. I’m grateful to be part of a company that prioritizes giving back and empowers employees to make a meaningful impact beyond the workplace.”

Marketing Coordinator, Amanda Buchanan, echoed that sentiment: “Donation Day is one of my favorite days of the year. Learning about the impact these organizations have on our community is meaningful, and having the chance to help support the work they do is what makes it truly special. I’m thankful Dec-O-Art gives us the chance to support these organizations in a way that really matters.”

Dec-O-Art Patriotic Labels Gain Momentum

Amanda Buchanan — Thu, 04 Jun 2026 17:00:44 +0000

What began as a focused product launch in April 2025 has grown into something much more impactful for manufacturers across the country. When Dec-O-Art introduced five new patriotic label designs, the goal was simple: give customers a meaningful way to highlight their commitment to American manufacturing. As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, that message is resonating more strongly than ever.

“We created these designs to support our customers and give them a way to highlight something they already take pride in,” said Alexis Sindle, Sales Operations Manager at Dec-O-Art. “What we are seeing now is customers building on that idea in ways that are meaningful to their business and their brand.”

As adoption grew, so did demand for customization. Customers began incorporating elements such as state callouts, company logos, contact information, and brand messaging. These additions help align each label more closely with the product and the company behind it.

These additions have turned labels into a direct line of communication between manufacturers and their customers. More manufacturers are recognizing the value of clearly communicating where their products are made, especially in a competitive marketplace where transparency builds trust and strengthens brand identity. What began as a design offering has become a strategic tool for companies that want to stand behind their work and share that message with confidence.

The continued growth of this initiative reflects a larger shift in how manufacturers present their products. Dec-O-Art remains focused on supporting that momentum by expanding customization options and helping customers bring their ideas to life.

D.H. Machine Inc. is one of many manufacturers using Dec-O-Art’s patriotic labels to reinforce their branding and communicate their commitment to American-made products. “Dec-O-Art has been great to work with,” said David Johnson of DH Machine Inc. “The quality of their products is never in doubt.”

Dec-O-Art’s labels are designed for durability across industries, including recreational vehicles, trailers, trucks, marine, and industrial applications. They are engineered to withstand demanding environments while maintaining a clean and professional appearance.

To celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and help manufacturers experience the impact of these labels firsthand, Dec-O-Art is currently offering a free 100-pack of its brand new patriotic label, USA250. Companies can claim the offer by submitting the form at www.dec-o-art.com/contact and mentioning this press release in their message.

Dec-O-Art, based in Elkhart, Indiana, has been providing trusted labeling solutions since 1971. The company specializes in high-quality decals, compliance labels, and custom branding elements that help manufacturers enhance product presentation and communicate their identity.

Dec-O-Art Announces FedCert Suite Enhancements to Make VIN Calculation Easier

Amanda Buchanan — Mon, 01 Dec 2025 13:04:12 +0000

The Label Experts at Dec-O-Art, have recognized the complexities of compliance labeling faced by vehicle and trailer manufacturers. To address these challenges, the company developed FedCert Suite™ in 2005, a secure, cloud-based solution designed to simplify and streamline compliance documentation within a single platform.

FedCert Suite™ allows users to generate VINs, print compliance labels, complete required vehicle documentation, and store records inside one central cloud-based platform. With included technical support and a yearly subscription, manufacturers remain current, supported, and prepared without managing software installations or manual updates.

To further advance these objectives, Dec-O-Art has introduced new updates to FedCert Suite™, enhancing its functionality and offering a modern experience for manufacturers seeking to minimize manual tasks and eliminate repetitive administrative work.

Key enhancements include:

Compliance Support – Model year change reminders and guidance; customer and sale creation guidance; VIN submission guidance to help users stay compliant.

User Experience – Modernized navigation and searchable user-defined fields; updated Models, Vehicles, and Sales pages with new action buttons; print setting tips and recommendations.

Administrative Tools – Improved reporting and export tools; auto-generated customer number assignment; security enhancements; logo print size controls.

“After researching our most common customer requests, we created a customer-focused feature list that directly supports their needs,” said Whitney Kovalenko, Account Manager at Dec-O-Art.

Kovalenko continued, “By adding links to governing agencies such as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), we continue to strengthen our dedication to compliance. With additional features such as the banner bar for model year changes and reminders to submit new VIN criteria, we’re helping users save time, reduce errors, and stay compliant.”

Manufacturers interested in exploring the platform or learning more can reach out to the Dec-O-Art team at sales@dec-o-art.com or begin a 30-day free trial at www.live.fedcertsuite.com.

Dec-O-Art, The Label Experts, celebrated its first donation to Care Camps Foundation, kicking off an ongoing partnership to support children and families affected by cancer. The contribution of over $4,500 is the first of many annual donations through this commitment.

This donation reflects the strength of Dec-O-Art’s partnership with Forest River, in which proceeds from co-branded Forest River and Care Camps Foundation decals directly support the Foundation’s mission. Care Camps Foundation funds medically supervised oncology camps that allow children with cancer, and their families, to experience the joy and healing power of the outdoors.

Dec-O-Art’s Donation Day Contributes $75,000 to Local Nonprofits Chosen by Employees

Amanda Buchanan — Tue, 02 Sep 2025 15:06:30 +0000

The Label Experts at Dec-O-Art stepped away from their stations and into the community for their third annual Donation Day. Each year, the company closes its doors to dedicate a full day of hands-on service at local nonprofit organizations chosen by employees.

Team members were divided into groups and assisted with whatever was most needed—from landscaping and organizing clothing to assembling shelving and furniture. This year’s service day supported three impactful organizations: Angels in the Attic, Center for the Homeless, and Mishawaka Troop Town.

In addition to their volunteer hours, Dec-O-Art presented each nonprofit with a $25,000 donation, for a combined total of $75,000. This contribution will help strengthen the vital services these organizations provide in the community.

Angels in the Attic has served Michiana for 14 years, primarily in St. Joseph and Elkhart counties. The organization has supported more than 6,500 victims of domestic abuse by providing emergency aid, food, clothing, hygiene products, and financial relief. Their mission is to provide confidential, professional assistance to women and children leaving abusive situations.

Center for the Homeless, established in 1988, has served over 65,000 individuals. Each year, the Center provides 73,000 safe bed stays and more than 180,000 meals. Beyond emergency services, they offer resources and programming to help men, women, children, and veterans break the cycle of homelessness.

Mishawaka Troop Town is a veteran-owned initiative dedicated to housing and supporting homeless or in-need veterans. Their programs focus on building healthy, productive lives through community involvement and holistic support for spiritual, mental, and physical well-being.

Donation Day not only emphasizes the company’s role as a business leader but also a community pillar committed to philanthropy and service.

“Donation Day reflects who we are as a company—committed not just to excellence in our work, but to service in our community. Supporting these incredible organizations reminds us that when businesses and people come together with purpose, we can create lasting change. We look forward to continuing this tradition of service for years to come,” stated Nathan Dosmann, President of Dec-O-Art.

“We are so grateful for Dec-O-Art’s generosity and hands-on support. Their team’s willingness to give their time and resources helps us continue providing hope and relief to women and children in crisis. Partnerships like this remind survivors that they are not alone,” said Kristine Kuroski, Founder/CEO Angels in the Attic.

Amanda Buchanan — Thu, 24 Jul 2025 15:05:38 +0000

Dec-O-Art is proud to give back to the community and support those in need. In line with this commitment, the company has partnered with the Care Camps Foundation. For every Care Camps and Forest River co-branded decal sold, Dec-O-Art will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Care Camps Foundation, which provides life-changing experiences to children living with cancer and their families.

“We’ve built a great working relationship with our customer, Forest River, and were honored when they shared their involvement with Care Camps,” said Alexis Sindle, Sales Operations Manager at Dec-O-Art. “They knew of our company’s philanthropic values and invited us to participate in the fundraiser. We were excited to learn more about the organization and how we could play a role in supporting such an impactful cause.”

Founded in 1984 by a group of Kampgrounds of America (KOA) owners, Care Camps began as a grassroots effort to fund pediatric oncology camps. Today, it is a well-established non-profit organization with strong partnerships across the outdoor industry, creating opportunities for children with cancer to enjoy the healing experiences in nature.

As the only national non-profit dedicated solely to funding medically supervised camps for children with cancer in the U.S. and Canada, Care Camps Foundation combines expert care with the therapeutic power of the outdoors. These camps provide essential medical support in a traditional camp setting, offering children a sense of community and belonging. Campers are able to connect with others who understand their experiences—without having to explain their illnesses.

“We are so grateful to have Dec-O-Art join our mission to support camps for children with cancer,” said Gwynn Sullivan, MSN, Care Camps Foundation Executive Director. “Having toured Dec-O-Art’s production plant, their philanthropic spirit shines through their leadership, staff and work.”

Dec-O-Art’s Donation Day: $60,000 Donated During Company-Wide Volunteer Initiative

Angela Marazita — Fri, 13 Sep 2024 11:33:14 +0000

Dec-O-Art, a leading label manufacturer based in Elkhart, Indiana, has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the Michiana community through its annual Donation Day event. This year, our company closed its doors for a day to enable all employees to dedicate their time and efforts to local non-profit organizations, resulting in a profound impact on the community.

The Donation Day initiative, driven by the collective spirit of Dec-O-Art’s employees, saw volunteers spread across three significant local organizations: Center for Hospice Care, Center for the Homeless, and Women’s Care Center. By engaging with these organizations, Dec-O-Art employees are making a tangible difference in the lives of many.

Nathan Dosmann, the third-generation Owner and President of Dec-O-Art, reflected on the importance of this event:

“Our second annual Donation Day is a celebration of the exceptional organizations within our community. These organizations provide resources to our most in-need brothers and sisters – specifically individuals who are ill, experiencing homelessness, and navigating pregnancy and motherhood. This day of giving is an illustration of our team’s belief and trust in our community and our hope to inspire generosity in others.”

In addition to the invaluable volunteer hours, Dec-O-Art also presented each of the three organizations with a generous donation check of $20,000, totaling $60,000. This substantial $60,000 financial support will enable these three organizations to continue their critical work within the community.

To understand the impact of the Donation Day event, we spoke with the Chief Development Officer at the Center for the Homeless, Taya Chapman. Taya explained the significance of Dec-O-Art’s volunteering:

“The Center is so thankful for the growing partnership with Dec-O-Art and their team! It’s so awesome to see the amount of people that come out to help the organizations in our community on any given day. Dec-O-Art has done an amazing job of leading this community in those efforts. It starts at the top with Nathan, the President, and just the entire organization rallying around to help the people that need it most!”

Dec-O-Art’s Donation Day not only emphasizes the company’s role as a business leader but also as a community pillar committed to philanthropy and service. The event is a testament to the company’s belief that corporate responsibility extends beyond business operations and into the heart of the community.
